The future of the Rocket City Notebook

By Aaron Tanner

First off, I thank all those who follow the Rocket City Notebook. I hope my posts enlightened readers about what it's like having Asperger Syndrome but in a positive light.

I am entering a busy season of my life for the rest of 2019. As a result, I will be unable to maintain the blog weekly. At the end of December, the Rocket City Notebook will shut down, and my work will shift over to the Tennessee Valley Unite blog. My goal is to continue blogging on the Tennessee Valley Unite page every other week about issues concerning people with Aspergers and other disabilities.

In the meantime, I will continue to post on the Rocket City Notebook whenever I can for the rest of 2019. I encourage everyone to check out the Tennessee Valley Unite website and Facebook page where their wall is updated regularly with stories related to people with disabilities. The non-profit continues to do excellent work in training first responders in north Alabama about handling people with disabilities, especially in the realm of Autism.

I thank those who have supported my blog for the past two and a half years. To check out the Tennessee Valley Unite website, click here.
