My Latest Article in Okra Magazine

The list of periodicals featuring my work continues to grow. Okra Magazine is a quarterly magazine that highlights the people, places, and culture of the Southern United States. The publication started in 2017.

I have two stories in the latest edition about the same subject. In the Southern Character section of Okra, I highlight the works of Tim Hollis of Dora, Alabama as a writer and collector while the Something Else portion of the magazine allows the reader a glimpse into Hollis’ museum of mid-20th Century pop-culture memorabilia located in his house.

Right now, I do not have a web link to my article. However, my story should appear later this year online in the Second Helping portion of Okra magazine’s website.

In the meantime, I encourage those interested in reading my latest work and a trip down memory lane to type in your zip code on MagFinder’s website for the nearest store that sells Okra magazine. Locations across Alabama and the rest of the South that sells Okra magazine include Winn-Dixie, Kroger, Publix, Books-A-Million and Barnes and Noble.

Don’t forget that I will be migrating my blog posts over to the Tennessee Valley Unite website. In the meantime, get your latest copy of Okra magazine today.
